Verbs, Camouflage, and Breakout EDU!

We learned that verbs are action words.
When we use verbs in the present tense, we add -ing to the end of the word.
We made PicCollages with a partner and showcased our writing of -ing words.
We are learning that if there is one vowel and one consonant after the vowel we have to double the consonant before adding the suffix.
We also learned that we just add the -ing for two vowels and one consonant after the vowel.

We like playing the math games on Big Ideas!

We are using our tools to help us solve and then confirm our answers.

We are on the hunt for moths. Can you find the moths that are camouflaged?

We made our own moths to hide around the room.
Mrs. C can only find a few of them!

Our guest reader, Mr. Kosner, came in to read to the class today.
We learned that it is more important to have fun and to play a game that you can be proud of!

Mrs. Galanis came over for our Treasure Hunt celebration.
She worked with Mrs. C to help the class solve a Breakout EDU.
We had to use problem solving skills to figure out the different clues to unlock four locks for the box!

Both teams broke out!!!!!

One of my favorite quotes of the day...
"My brain grew so much I think it is going to blow up!"
